a favorite among young and old since it originally premiered. It was the first part of the
trilogy. The beautiful scenery included Lake Tegernsee in Bavaria and scenes in
Austria. The actors Romy Schneider, Karlheinz Böhm and Magda Schneider are fan
favorites of German Heimatfilme of the time.
