Summertime is time for soccer! And what better way to be a part of this exciting time than with friends, German beer, and great specialty snacks?
The German American Social Club of Cape Coral, home of the Cape Coral FC Bayern Munich Fan Club and Cape Coral Oktoberfest, will open the doors to its Edelweiss Hall for European Cup and Copa America soccer viewing parties. Club members and soccer aficionados alike are really excited to come together and enjoy watching the upcoming matches with like-minded soccer buffs!
The Club will offer bar food and German specialties, such as pretzels, Schnitzel, potato salad, etc. for all Germany matches, as well as themed snacks to reflect the other nations competing on a particular match day.
The first watch party is this Saturday, June 1, at 3 pm, with the Champions League Final match between Dortmund and Real Madrid.
The Opening Euro 2024 match is on Friday, June 14, at 3 PM featuring Germany vs. Scotland, followed by Germany vs. Hungary on Wednesday, June 19 at noon, and Switzerland vs. Germany on Sunday, June 23 at 3 PM.
Depending on how the German team advances during the championship matches, additional
dates will be added.
The Copa America matches are being held at the same time, and the German American Social Club will be holding watch parties for all USA games as well. Currently, watch parties are scheduled for matches to be held on June 23 (USA vs. Bolivia, 6 PM), June 27 (Panama vs. USA, 6 PM), and July 1 (USA vs. Uruguay, 9 PM).

Doors to the Edelweiss Hall will open 20 minutes before each match. Come out, spend time at the Club to talk soccer shop with friends, family, and meet new friends.
And, while you’re there, consider becoming a member of the Cape Coral’s best social club. The Club welcomes you to take part in the variety of German traditions that it celebrates, from soccer, Karneval, to Schuetzenfest to Oktoberfest and more. The Club opens its doors to the public and members alike every Friday at 5 pm.
